I HAVE this classmate/friend from school whom we shall refer to as P. I grew up thinking that he was a sweet, non-cerebral type with a good heart but mostly zero intellect. He even gifted me a birthday present on my 15th birthday, which was very thoughtful of him. He’s a typical specimen of his community, the stuff that jokes (mostly cliched ones) targeted at that particular one, reek of.
Now, 20 years down the line, I have discovered that P was known to be a little creepy in school. He apparently once threatened a girl with r&&p, over the phone. What’s really funny (or may be sad) is that someone (we don’t know who) started a ‘Let’s send P to hell’ club on Orkut, and quite a few of my classmates are a part of it! I don’t know whether to feel bad for the guy or to laugh about it, till I choke.
