HERE’S a brill specimen of new age marketing being used to promote an age-old practice. Thanks to this Brajeshwar guy for posting, and Meera for her viral efforts.
On a different, I was telling a friend of mine that I was feeling spiritually bankrupt. This was his retort in light of the global meltdown: “It’s better than being actually bankrupt”.
On yet anothert note, a friend of mine burst into the room with a great deal of excitement and declared that “someone has just found a soulmate”. “You?”, I asked. “No, someone. I can’t tell you, but you will get the news, soon!” he bumbled on, trying to catch his breath.
“Well, till we find soulmates, we shall have to do with solemates,” I said, pointing to my sassy, new pair of killer white heels (Bangkok-types). The object of my infatuation comes with bold, purple-colour soles, and cost 550 bucks (brand: Miss Saigon…eeks!) but like they are worth Rs 3,000.
