Am doing absolutely nothing that means anything to me at work. CAT fever, how to make more money, be more successful, impress at work, dress for success…at the end of the day editing these stories doesn’t fuel my fire.
So, three words to describe the current work mode: mundane, monotonous and mechanical. Sigh…
An artist needs a muse. Well, inspiration is my muse and I hope it comes my way soon.

A camel’s question
Baby Camel – Mother, may I ask you some questions?
Mother Camel – Sure, why son, is something bothering you?
Baby camel – Why do camels have humps?
Mother Camel – Well son, we are desert animals. We need the humps to store water and we are known to survive without drinking water for days on end.
Baby Camel – Ok, then why are our legs long and our feet rounded?
Mother Camel – Son, obviously they are meant for walking in the desert sand better than anyone does.
Baby Camel – Just one more question Mother…..
Mother Camel – Yes dear?
Baby Camel – Why are our eye-lashes long? Sometimes it bothers my sight.
Mother Camel – My son, those long thick eyelashes are your protective cover. They help to protect your eyes from the desert sand and wind.
Baby Camel – I see. So the hump is to store water when we are in the desert, the legs are for walking through the desert and these eyelashes protect my eyes from the desert sand…
Then mother, what the hell are we doing in a Zoo??!!!!
Moral of the story:
Skills, Knowledge, abilities and experiences are only useful if you are at the right place!
WHERE ARE YOU NOW?
Yeah tell me about it. I think every writer goes through a period when her work bores her to tears.
If you stick on with it, its because you know better work awaits soon. Or you move on to another company, because the place you currently are at is dead and there’s no way in hell better work you are interested in will come your way.
What’s your position?
Well, I think the toot cause begins and ends with me. Need to get out of a rut because in a way I have created it. Thanks for posing the query hon. Muah!
