hey rads and Geetha, thanks for your comments. Glad Suraj’s write-up motivated you both. All the best for the marathon in June, Geetha!!! come and read the post in case you feel low about it at any time…also, here’s something a friend shared yest:
“Don’t aim at success—the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side-effect of one’s dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one’s surrender to a person other than oneself.

Hi madam, I am liking you a lot
Thanks so much for this, Merril.
That was a real motivation to read. I am planning to do walk/jog the 10K marathon in June and it was truly inspiring to read your post. There are plenty of reasons that I would do it, but I still keep thinking if I did the right thing by registering for it, the first and foremost being that am I fit enough? But as I read through your post, it does hit me that you are absolutely right, it is a mind thing
Indeed.
Thank you for this. I am in similar position, as in attempting to push myself and my body to do what I never dreamed of or thought capable of considering injuries, weight gain and general malaise.
I intend to walk/run the 5K in May, but am attempting it this Saturday just to see if I can do it. It will be a big challenge, and your post has helped immensely. It is a mind thing.

Is it really? ‘Cuz even that Iqbal movie was overhyped and I was seriously disappointed by the half-hearted direction of the movie.
music is good!
but still i saw the malu version it was amazing…Perumazhakaalam…c it and appreciate the malu filmdom…lol…yea its coo he paid for rights but were is the orginality in that…there is no creativeness that is Hindi cinmea anywhere…gone were da days when it was all about cinema rather than commercialism…man i havnt watched a good hindi film in a long time… now its all explosion of bollywood colors and what not….which is soo typical and predictable….and very bad music….soo this movie has its hopes up for music side of it cause it had trilok gurtu and it was a classic in its own way…Perumazhakaalam had national award winners acting in it…not that ia m sayin that the hindi one aint no good…but you know…thats da difference between a malu film and a hindi film…but mad props for Nagesh kokunoor for pickin it up and bringin that type of story to the forefront…hopefully the tides of hindi film will change…but then again i doubt that to…once in wile youll get your few and far in betweens…well untill then we can all hope for the best from bollywood…music is good tho lol…
