Attended the premier of Home Delivery. Vivek Oberoi (now Viviek Anand Oberoi) sported a superman T-shirt under a smart black blazer which btw I though looked really cool. Am not sure if the man is cool enough in his attitude to carry it off. But if you are truly ubercool, a superman T-shirt is a great way to go.

That was a real motivation to read. I am planning to do walk/jog the 10K marathon in June and it was truly inspiring to read your post. There are plenty of reasons that I would do it, but I still keep thinking if I did the right thing by registering for it, the first and foremost being that am I fit enough? But as I read through your post, it does hit me that you are absolutely right, it is a mind thing

Thank you for this. I am in similar position, as in attempting to push myself and my body to do what I never dreamed of or thought capable of considering injuries, weight gain and general malaise.
I intend to walk/run the 5K in May, but am attempting it this Saturday just to see if I can do it. It will be a big challenge, and your post has helped immensely. It is a mind thing.

I wasn’t thinking…. the “untercool” should wear Superman “underoos”.
That might be a reference to something only those near 40 yrs of age in the US would know about, though…. “underoos” were kids’ sized underwear (briefs) that came in “superhero” styles.
Jingle went something like “Underoos are fun to wear… you can wear them anywhere….”.
I can’t believe I’m saying this. >:-o
