Today my company (as in the place I work for) completes 10 years. There are buntings all over the place, rangoli at the entrance and special anniversary t-shirts which we are supposed to don for the course of the day. It’s all very festive. Some of the senior management will be making speeches including my boss.
I said, ” Wow…that’s so cool.” Her face lit up.
“Should provide some entertainment — a welcome break from work, ” I added with a chuckle.
The T-shirt is pretty comfy. Think I’m gonna wear while going for my morning walks.

I think it’s important to “celebrate” in the workplace when milestones are reached or accomplishments made (recall my blog on the party a month after the major cutover on 1 October to which no one came).
I bet the festive mood helps all feel like they are part of Rediff’s success. Definitely sounds like yours was the right way to do it.
