…A Riot Of Colours

While making a proposal for a premier paints company a couple of days back, I surfed for inspiration on the web. What can be more inspiring than eye-catching colours and images? Got lost while admiring these…

   Spider-Man 2 – One Big Hollywood Gimmick!

I did watch Spider-Man 2 and the experience propelled my flying fantasies to dizzying heights! Relished every swinging sequence as well as the fight atop a speeding train between Spidey and the tentacled villian Doc Oc. These are sound and visual delights and not to be missed. Imagine watching the same sequences in an I-max dome?!!

Tobey Maguire is very beleivable and adorable as Peter Parker.

Kirsten Dunst is sincere as Peter’s lady-love, though she looks a wee bit haggard is some scenes.

JK Simmons is entertaining as the flamboyant editor.

It’s hard to be angry with the villian. I mean can one be angry with 4 metallic tentacles? Nopes!

So is Spider-Man 2 a perfect film? Far from it. The script is filmy( read dramatic). Kirsten Dunst does a ‘Runaway Bride’ on her beau. Spider-Man gets the girl in the end. In fact Peter Parker the supposed  loser gets the girl. And the ending predictably makes way for Spider-Man 3.

To sum it up the film was worth the watch for the following reasons:
 Computer Generated Epecial Effects.
The dialogue on love by Kirsten Dunst at the end. It strikes a chord, no doubt.
HELLO…it’s Spider-Man we are talking about…so if you’re a Spider-Man fan, who cares about minor details?!!
